MITRA Offers Comprehensive Scholarships for AAT Diploma in Accounting

MITRA, a government agency, led by the Prime Minister's Office, in collaboration with System & Skills Training Concept (SSTC), is offering an exclusive opportunity for Malaysian Indians aged 17 to 23 years old to study the internationally recognized AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting.

Successful applicants will benefit from comprehensive scholarships covering tuition fees, AAT assessment fees, study texts, and a monthly allowance.

The AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) Diploma in Accounting stands as a cornerstone qualification, equipping individuals with the fundamental skills and knowledge required to thrive in the dynamic field of accounting. Recognized globally, this diploma opens doors to a wide array of career opportunities within the financial sector.

Funded by MITRA, the scholarship programme aims to break barriers and provide a pathway for Malaysian Indians who might face financial constraints in pursuing their ambitions within the accounting realm. Through this initiative, MITRA seeks to nurture talent, promote diversity, and contribute to the growth of skilled professionals in the accounting industry.

SSTC, the award-winning AAT training provider, will conduct the full-time 9-month course at its location in Bandar Puteri Puchong, Puchong, Selangor. For outstation students, SSTC offers the option to apply for accommodation at the SSTC hostel, situated at Koi Tropika Condominium. The hostel is conveniently located within walking distance of the training center, providing a conducive living environment for students pursuing the AAT Diploma in Accounting.

Upon successful completion of the AAT Diploma in Accounting, participants will receive job placement support to facilitate their entry into the workforce, further enhancing the prospects of a fulfilling career in accounting.

SSTC AAT pass rates are higher than the world pass rates with more than 93% of their students being placed successfully in the industry. Besides MITRA scholarships, SSTC is also an approved Training Provider for Yayasan Peneraju, Perkeso Madani and HRD Corp courses.

Mr Narrendra Kumaar, a former SSTC student, is a nominee for AAT Student of the Year 2020, selected from a pool of 80,000 students internationally. He is now pursuing his CIMA via the CGMA Finance Leadership Program.

The MITRA scholarships aim to cover all necessary expenses for successful Malaysian Indian applicants aged 17 to 23, enabling them to embark on this enriching educational journey without the burden of financial constraints. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply and showcase their dedication, passion, and potential to contribute significantly to the accounting profession.
