Course Overview

The curriculum of the MSU honours degree programme in creative multimedia combines content development with multimedia programming, with focuses on multimedia computing and interactive multimedia, and emphasis on practical problem-solving through current and emerging technologies. You will train to produce creative media including text, graphics, sound, animation, photo images, and video. Broaden your learning experience by participating in the MSU Global Mobility Programme for a chance to spend a semester abroad undertaking a similar course at one of MSU’s international partner universities in Europe or Australia. You can also opt to undergo your industrial placement abroad through the MSU Global Internship Programme for an opportunity to work alongside like-minded individuals in a global setting.

Entry Requirements

i. A pass in STPM with at least Grade C (GP 2.00) in any TWO (2) subjects; OR

ii A pass in STAM with at least grade JayyidOR

iii. Matriculation or Foundation with at least CGPA of 2.00, OR

iv. A Diploma (Level 4, MQF) with at least CGPA 2.00 OR

v. An advanced Diploma (Level 5, MQF) with at least CGPA 2.00 OR

vi. A Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM)/ Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) subjected to HEP Senate / Academic Board's Approval OR

vii. A Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM) subjected to HEP Senate/ Academic Board's Approval;

Note for (vi) (vii); The HEP are to conduct screening and necessary guidance specific to the discipline of the program OR

viii Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government

AND

ix. Pass and interview (online/virtual/conventional) OR submission of students' portfolio, to be determined by the HEP as required.
