Information Technology is the study or use of systems (especially computers and telecommunications) for storing, retrieving, and sending information. The degree enables students to develop higher level of entrepreneurial and cognitive skills beyond knowledge and understanding, where focus is given to the competency of analysis, synthesis, creativity, and evaluation whilst developing other transferable skills such as problem solving, communication, and interaction. Students will be well prepared with a range of practical, business, and personal skills for many specialist roles within the ICT and business sectors.
