Course Description | By taking this course, students will be exposed to the fundamentals of electrical and electronics engineering in the first four semesters of studies. In the fifth (final) semester, students will be equipped with courses from the power engineering discipline such as power utilization, machines and drive as well as power electronic. It is also compulsory that the students complete their final year project which aims to develop their skills and ensure that they not only understand the theory but are also able to practice their knowledge. The energy and power industry plays a vital role towards building a successful nation. |

Career Prospects | Graduates from this program can fulfill the continuous needs for assistant technician or assistant engineers in energy and power engineering industry (delivery of high voltage and distribution) and many other industries in the private sector. According to existing records, graduates from this program are accepted to work for power engineering companies especially companies related to power engineering.Examples of such companies are Tenaga Nasional Berhad(TNB), independent power producers (IPP) such as Malakoff etc. |
