Course Description

The programme provides opportunities for students to develop knowledge, skills, behaviours and aptitudes that not only correspond with the dynamic nature and needs of modern management practices, but also necessary to face challenges in the corporate world.

As Business Management is a versatile field, students in this programme will find that their career options are varied, whether they’re interested in becoming a business owner or joining an organisation to climb up the corporate ladder.

Strong Business Mindset
In-depth understanding and knowledge of the interrelationships amongst how organisations are managed as a whole, the external environment in which they operate and specialisations of different aspects in business management.

Current and Modern Electives
Up-to-date elective choices such as Digital Marketing Futures, Leadership and Change Management to reflect the changing business landscape.

Global Recognition Some subjects studied will be given exemptions from professional qualifications, such as the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) in UK.

Entry Requirements
  • STPM - CCC
  • GCE A Levels - CC / CDE (Minimum 12 points)
  • UEC - 5 Bs
  • Diploma - CGPA 2.0
  • Foundation Studies - CGPA 2.0
  • SAM - ATAR 60
  • CPU - 60%
  • IB - 26 points
  • Any other qualifications deemed equivalent by the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia (or as stated in the Document Senarai Nilai Taraf Kelayakan Akademik, Malaysian Qualifications Agency) - Pass (Subject to review and approval of certified transcripts)

Note:
In addition to the above mentioned requirement, the student must have obtained a Pass in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.

ENGLISH REQUIREMENT

  • Local Student - Credit (SPM / 1119 / UEC / O Levels examination) / Band 4 in MUET
  • International Student - Band 6.0 in IELTS, TOEFL 79 (Internet Based Test), or 550 (paper-based) in TOEFL

If English Language requirements are not fulfilled, additional English module(s) may be taken at KDU University College.
