Course Description

In this programme, students are not just presented with a degree certificate upon graduation - they are equipped with the right skills to initiate and manage new business ventures, and make their mark in the business arena. The programme is designed to meet the intense demand for business professionals who are able to manage innovation and develop an entrepreneurial approach to organisational structure, financial architecture and market growth.

Entrepreneurial Mindset

  • Develops a ‘can-do’ entrepreneurial mind-set in students and equips them to lead innovation and change through subjects such as Essentials of Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurial Thought and Action, Managing New Business Ventures and Sustainable Entrepreneurship.
  • Trains students to develop the skills and confidence to create, recognise and utilise business opportunities.

Real-World Experience

  • Learn about innovative leadership and management concepts and techniques from other young entrepreneurs.
  • Students will also get to flex their entrepreneurial muscles at each level of the programme through experimentation in real business situations, including starting and running at least one live business.

Practical & Professional Skills

  • Develop essential skills from communication, problem- solving and decision-making skills, to professional skills such as creative and innovative responses to professional challenges, and successful professional goal setting towards achievement.

  • STPM - CCC
  • GCE A Levels - CC / CDE (Minimum 12 points)
  • UEC - 5 Bs
  • Diploma - CGPA 2.0
  • Foundation Studies - CGPA 2.0
  • SAM - ATAR 60
  • CPU - 60%
  • IB - 26 points
  • Any other qualifications deemed equivalent by the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia (or as stated in the Document Senarai Nilai Taraf Kelayakan Akademik, Malaysian Qualifications Agency) - Pass (Subject to review and approval of certified transcripts)

Note:
In addition to the above mentioned requirement, the student must have obtained a Pass in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.

ENGLISH REQUIREMENT

  • Local Student - Credit (SPM / 1119 / UEC / O Levels examination) / Band 4 in MUET
  • International Student - Band 6.0 in IELTS, TOEFL 79 (Internet Based Test), or 550 (paper-based) in TOEFL

If English Language requirements are not fulfilled, additional English module(s) may be taken at KDU University College.
