Course Overview

This Diploma in Telecommunication train students in building, repairing, installing and maintaining a wide variety of telecommunications systems and equipment. Students use state-of-the-art test equipment to study the characteristics of electronic devices and circuits in telecommunication systems, develop troubleshooting skills, and gain an understanding of electronics. Graduates will gain necessary skills for immediate employment in the telecommunication industry, majoring in design, product development, mobile communication, maintenance, installation, testing troubleshooting and technical sales.

Entry Requirements

- Pass SPM or its equivalent with credits in any three (3) subjects, and pass in Mathematics at SPM level; or
- Pass STPM or its equivalent with a pass in Mathematics at the SPM level; or
- Recognized Certificate in Engineering/Engineering Technology or its equivalent ; or
- Recognized related Vocational and Technical/Skills Certificate or its equivalent with ONE (1) year of relevant work experience or a minimum of ONE (1) semester of a bridging programme
