MAHSA University's Diploma in Accounting is a comprehensive 2 year programme designed for students who have completed their SPM or its equivalent, and who are looking forward to a successful career in the respected field of accounting, a crucial and integral part of every business endeavour.
This programme will introduce students to the highly specialized subjects, requisite in a career in Accounting, which include accounting principles, accounting practices, software applications, and business computing. Students will also acquire an in-depth knowledge of financial and management accounting, taxation, business financing and other aspects of business.
Upon completion of the programme, students will have learnt how to prepare financial reports, forecast and manage budgets, prepare personal income tax returns, and implement personalized small business accounting systems. In other words, they will have acquired the necessary knowledge and skills to be successful accounting executives or office executives in the business and accounting fields.
