Course Description

Prospective students should talk to potential supervisors in the School of Engineering about possible research topics. Although not essential, most people embarking on a research degree already have a preference for a particular area of research, arising from personal interests.


Entry Requirements

To enter Monash University, students must satisfy particular academic, English language and age requirements.

To apply for the Master of Engineering Science (Research), you must have completed a four-year Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science (Honours) from a recognised tertiary institution with a minimum grade that is equivalent to H2B.
