Diploma in Agricultural Engineering offered at UPMKB is in line with the third university’s strategic plan for the year 2001-2010, that is to increase and enhance its capacity as centre of excellence in academic as well as in agricultural and bio resources services at an international level. The objective of the programme is mainly to cater the national need in producing the semi professional personnel’s in managing agricultural resources more effective and efficient manner with the acquired knowledge and modern technology, the graduate should be a ble to materialize the agriculture sector as main economic growth for the nation. The career prospect of graduated student’s in the field are bright in both public and private especially in agriculture and its related sectors. Diploma in Agricultural Engineering is a three (3) year programme with a total of 103 credit hours.

Applicants should meet the University General Requirements and Specific Needs are considered to follow the Agricultural Engineering Programme.

Applicants must posses a minimum credit (Grade C or 6C) in subjects of Mathematics, Biology or Science and credit (Grade C or 6C) in two (2) of the following subjects:

and

ii) Obtained at least Grade E/8E in English language.
