This programme provides students with the specialised knowledge required to formulate solutions to complex data problems across a range of domain settings – turning raw data sets into meaningful information to better guide decision making. Data management and analytics helps organisations harness their data and use it to identify new opportunities. In turn, that increases revenues, improves operational efficiency, optimises marketing campaigns and customer service efforts, responds more quickly to emerging market trends and gains a competitive edge over rivals -- all with the ultimate goal of boosting organisation performance.

Academic Requirement
(1) A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MQF) in Computing or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, as accepted by the HEP Senate; or
(2) A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MQF) in Computing or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 can be accepted subject to a thorough rigorous internal assessment; or
(3) A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-Computing field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 can be accepted subject to a thorough rigorous assessment to identify the appropriate prerequisite courses that equivalent to their working experience in computing or related fields; or
(4) A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-Computing field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 can be accepted subject to appropriate prerequisite courses; or
(5) Other qualifications equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MQF) in Computing or related fields recognized by the Government of Malaysia must fulfill the requirement on item (a) or (b).
