Course Overview

The programme is designed for those who want a comprehensive teaching degree that will assist them in building successful career in the early childhood education sector; and most importantly for those with a passion for teaching.
 
Young and developing children require educators who are able to provide appropriate care and education for them. The significance of having qualified and trained ECE educators is now accepted by young parents, policy makers and society at large. Entry Requirements

For Malaysian and International Students:

Regular Entry

  • STPM / ‘A’ Level or equivalent qualifications with at least Grade C (CGPA 2.0) in two (2) subjects; OR
  • STAM (Grade Jayyid); OR
  • UEC with at least Grade B in five (5) subjects; OR
  • A Matriculation / Foundation Programme from any IPTA / IPTS / Institution authorised to offer foundation programs with CGPA 2.00; OR
  • A Diploma with at least CGPA of 2.00; OR
  • Other equivalent recognised qualifications.

For Malaysian students only:

Flexible Entry

Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) Entry Requirements:

  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Relevant working experience.

Minimum English Language Requirements for International Students:

  • Minimum score of 5.0 for IELTS; OR
  • Minimum score of 500 for TOEFL; OR
  • Other recognised equivalent qualifications.
