Course Description

Provides student in skill training for operation and maintenance of automated process control and measurement system to maintain a consistent product process output. This course will focus on industrial application to ensure process, equiment and system are functioning correctly including oil and gas refining process, power distribution, industrial process, mining and manufacturing.

Entry Requirements
  1. Pass SPM/SVM (or equivalent) with at least 3 credits including Mathematics & Science/Technical.
  2. Pass STPM/STAM (or equivalent) with principal in any subjects and pass in Mathematics, English, and one (1) Science/Technical/Vocational subject at SPM level.
  3. Pass Vocational and Technical/Skills certificate (SKM 3) which is recognised or equivalent to a minimum CGPA of 2.00 with at least a Credit in one (1) subject at SPM level
  4. APEL A : minimum 3 years working experience in a relevant field.
