Taylor's Interior Architecture degree programme is a pre-professional programme that provides a recognised qualification in Interior Architecture, which is necessary in the journey to become a Registered Interior Designer.
Students will learn about the nature of interior and spatial design requirements, which transcends functional adequacy and challenges accepted norms. Emphasis is placed on the ability to identify, analyse, formulate, conceptualise and develop innovative ideas into creative interior spaces and provide practical design solutions to real situations.
Graduates will be equipped with knowledge of design & creative works, knowledge of material & the environment, influences of history & culture, visual communication as well as management processes that are essential to the practice of interior architecture. At the end of the programme, students will develop an understanding of this field from a global and macro perspective.
