The field of Maritime Technology is a field that focuses on the application of technology, processes in technology and systems in technology used in maritime operations. The program is designed specifically to produce graduates who will be the key talent inputs for companies and government agencies in the maritime industry.

General University Requirements

Passed the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / equivalent with credit in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia or credit in Malay / Bahasa Malaysia July Paper;

and

Obtain a Diploma or other equivalent equivalent recognized by the Government of Malaysia and approved by the IPTA Senate;

or

Pass the Malaysian High School Certificate (STPM) examination in 2010 or earlier with at least;

• Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in General Studies subjects;

and

• Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in two (2) other subjects;

or

Pass the Matriculation examination in 2010 or earlier with a minimum CGPA of 2.00;

and

Earned at least Level 1 (Band 1) in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET).

Special Needs Program

Bagi calon lepasan Diploma/Setaraf, mendapat sekurang-kurangnya PNGK/CGPA 3.00. Bagi calon lepasan STPM / Matrikulasi tahun 2010 atau sebelumnya:-

Mendapat sekurang-kurangnya Gred C (2.00) dalam mana-mana SATU (1) mata pelajaran berikut:

• Physics / Engineering Physics
• Mathematics/Mathematics T/Further Mathematics T / Engineering Mathematics
• Civil Engineering Studies
• Mechanical Engineering Studies
• Electrical & Electronic Engineering Studies
• Engineering Science

dan

Mendapat sekurang-kurangnya kepujian (Gred C) pada peringkat SPM dalam mata pelajaran berikut:

• Bahasa Inggeris

• The main ports
• Shipbuilding Company
• Ship operators
• Shipbuilding Company
• Shipping companies and agencies
• Government Maritime Agency
• Oil and Gas Investigation Company
• Port Corporation
• Shipping Equipment Agency
