Course Description

Bachelor of Performing Arts (Dance) offered by the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts is aims to produce individuals who are competent and smart real balanced in terms of intellectual, spiritual, emotional and physical well prepared to meet the challenges of Vision 2020.Curriculum program is designed as a way with the purpose to forming an individual who has the knowledge, dynamism, skill and confidence, particularly for implementing programs and projects related to culture, art and heritage preservation. Through a balanced curriculum in terms of knowledge and skills in the performing arts, this program is expected to produce professional individuals who preserve our heritage.

Entry Requirements

Equivalent Qualifications

 

A pass in the ‘A’ Level examination with a minimum of Grade C in any three (3) subjects ;

 

OR

 

A pass in the Secondary High School Certificate/Senior High School Diploma (at least 12 years duration of school (6+3+3))

 

OR

 

A Diploma or other qualification with a minimum of 2.50 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) deemed to be of equivalent standing from the Malaysian Government and approved by the UPSI Senate.

 

AND

 

Fulfils specific programme requirement by obtaining a Diploma in the appropriate field or other qualification approved by the UPSI Senate.

 

AND

 

A pass in the “University Entrance Exam” (for countries where candidates must pass the “Entrance Exam” before being accepted into a university) ;

 

AND

 

A good pass in the ‘O’ Level examination or its equivalent ;

 

AND

 

Have sat for TOEFL with a minimum score of 550 ; IELTS with a minimum score of six (6);

 

OR

 

A Pass in the English Language Proficiency (ELP) at UPSI.

All fees are in RM (Ringgit Malaysia) currency unless stated otherwise.
