In marketing and advertising, you will learn how to market industrial and consumer goods. You will study subjects like market research, consumer surveying, domestic and international market trends, statistical analysis, competition analysis, and product development. You may also study these advertising subjects: advertising media, advertising regulations, ethical and operational principles, and sales promotion.
Wholesale and retail sales
The sub-field of wholesale and retail sales involves planning and making decisions regarding consumer demand, stock levels, potential sales, store budgets and product availability. You will learn how to analyse a changing business environment and how it affects purchasing and resale of various commodities.
